Tip for unplugging basin with automated drain...How to

32 years in the trade ...... This is a little tip that may save you a lot of time taking your drain apart under your bathroom sink if it has a mechanical drain. Not all mechanical drains are made like this, but there are thousands that are. The drain on your basin is called a Poplug. It stands for patented overflow. remember if you have to use a plunger to unplug your basin drain; you must plug off the overflow with a damp rag in order for the plunger to due the job properly.
