Drainage is Awesome! Awesome Tuesday #2 (245/365)

Dear People: We have an awesome public drainage system. But it only works if the drains aren't blocked by massive amounts of snow piled on top of it. Additionally, street drains are purposefully put where they are... they are positioned so that water will flow into them, thus not flooding the street! Additionally, inconsideration that when it is cold enough, water turns into ice, I - and I assume many other people - would personally love it if stagnant water wasn't sitting in areas I use for transportation, namely streets and sidewalks! Yay! Love, Katrina Today I wanted to shovel snow out of the sides of streets so that it wouldn't be blocking the drainage system because our streets were flooding. BC came and helped... he's the camera man! :D We cleared the area that you see in this video and all of the water drained. Hundreds of gallons of water that won't turn into ice under people's feet! Yay! I had difficulties classifying this as education or entertainment, because I was thoroughly entertained. Shoveling this slushy ice water out of the streets was so much fun. There is something wrong with me... lol
