The Carmel Valley Skate Park opened on November 22, 2008. The park is a 13500 square foot facility with a challenge course and cast in place concrete bowl. It also includes urban elements such as railings, stairs, banks and ledges. The park is equipped with night lighting allowing for it to stay open after the sun goes down. Full-review coming soon but here are the basics The Carmel Valley Skatepark has basically 3 features: 1) A sick pro combination pool that has a depth ranging for 6' to 11'. The design is great, the pool is fast, coping is set well, and will be the latest breeding ground for socal pool skaters.
