InSoFast® Engineered Insulation is shape molded EPS that creates a Continuous Insulation Panel or a (CIP). A CIP is preassembled insulation with mechanical attachment strips embedded into the foam with an interlocking weather resistant barrier as part of a building envelop that works in conjunct with proper (rain screen technology) and is simple to install. InSoFast® levels the playing field for concrete masonry construction. It frames provides electrical raceways and insulates existing concrete walls in one step with one panel. Shape molded continuous insulation panels maintain tighter tolerances in all dimensions: thickness, height and width and all 4 edges have interlocking outer edges to keep water out. InSoFast's alignment notches provide a dependable layout guide for other critical design features like arrow straight attachment studs and drainage channels. The drainage channels are always aligned to effectively direct water down creating an effective rain screen. InSoFast® CIPs use standard length mechanical fasteners to attach lath or drywall. Long fasteners that are blindly driven through several inches of insulation, "the hit or miss" method of attachment, is a thing of the past. The studs transfer the pullout and shear stresses of exterior surface coatings of stucco, or masonry veneer, through the 2 inches of insulation, providing a direct and positive attachment to the building's structure.
