Home congenital baptize catchment System

This is my water catchment system I installed at house in Portland, Oregon. My roommates and I wanted to build a rainwater catchment system that could divert some of our rainwater into a catchment to use for the growing season and throughout the regular summer drought months in the Pacific Northwest. This system was moved away from the houses foundation and I added the top three barrels. I also moved the system from the side of the house to the backyard. The system is 7 barrels (55 gallons each) totaling 385 gallons. At 8 lbs a gallon, the system weighs just over 3000 lbs. Yikes! The amount of water you see filled up in this barrel in less than a week of rain. Obviously it is going to fill up all the way, so I made an overflow pipe that brings the excess water through the system and drains it in the dug out pit in the backyard. The drainage pit is not complete yet, it needs some more plants and a little landscaping, but functionally it works great to divert water from the storm drains. The base was a staircase from a rental property that was taken down. The wood was free and pressure treated. The pipes are all 1/2 inch pvc. If anyone wants more information or has any water catchment questions send me a message and I would be glad to share my knowledge.

Reverse Osmosis System Troubleshooting

www.waterfilters.net Aquaman explains how to troubleshoot and fix the two most common problems with RO systems. As reverse osmosis systems age, the reservoir tanks wear out and the bladder inside the tank fails causing the symptom of no water delivered to the faucet. Checking the pressure on the tank is easy and necessary to determine if the tank is still in good condition. ASO (automatic shut off) valve failure is another common issue with under sink RO systems. The symptom is continuous flow of water down the drain. Both issues are easy to verify and repair. Follow Aquaman's advice and you can inexpensively troubleshoot and repair your reverse osmosis drinking water filter system.Aquaman is a Water Quality Association Certified Water Specialist. His training and experience have given him a deep understanding of water chemistry and water purification equipment. This enables him to provide scientifically accurate information that you can trust!

HOW THE BODY WORKS: the aqueous system

With Rejuv, you offer yourself Lymphatic Drainage - a highly recommended massage. Gentle touch of the Rejuv wheels simulates body-fluid stagnation down alternate pathways for draining. Lymphatic Drainage is a massage form that targets the body fluids and causes elimination of toxins, which we accumulate being subjected daily to pollutants and chemical additives in the food we eat. We lack physical exercise, experience fatigue, and lead -- in general - a stressful life. Such factors cause increase of the lymph flow in our body. Lymph is defined as a clear, watery, sometimes faintly yellowish fluid derived from body tissues that contains white blood cells and circulates throughout the lymphatic system, returning to the venous bloodstream through the thoracic duct. Lymphatic Drainage is said to beneficially affect the nervous, immune and muscular systems. Its primary purpose is the treatment of lymphedema, a condition that causes abnormal swelling of the leg and hands tissues with stagnant, and protein-rich lymph. This condition occurs when the lymphatic system has either failed to develop properly or has been damaged. Start the Lymphatic Drainage massage by opening the flow at the collarbone, where the lymph joins venous circulation into the heart. Then, proceed to the neck, face, head, chest, arms, legs, feet, back, and buttocks. Work your way, following the pathways of the lymph flow in your body.

CONNECTIVAL MASSAGE SYSTEM - www.beautyprogress.net - english version

The Connectival Massage System (CMS) helps microcirculation and the drainage of liquids whilst increasing the elasticity of the skin. CMS works by using suction as a medium for controlled compression of the tissue to be treated, coupled with rollers built into lightweight custom made treatment handles that compress the tissue in a controlled manner. CMS comes equipped with four treatment handles. One large round handle with ball roller, one smaller round handle with ball roller, one rectangular handle with in line rollers all for body treatments and one smaller rectangular handle with in line rollers for facial treatment. Two of the three body treatment handles emit infra red light in order to further stimulate vascularization, oxygenation, circulation and metabolism. The smaller facial treatment handle improves microcirculation and immediately increases the luminosity of the skin as well as stimulating the facial muscles for a rejuvenating and lifting effect.

Protan PROVAC - Vacuum Roofing System

PROVAC, Protan's unique single ply roofing system, utilises wind forces present in the environment to provide durability and protection even in extreme conditions. Since the installation of the first Norwegian vacuum roof in 1985, the system has been adopted for over 2 million square metres of roofs throughout Europe. PROVAC works by loose laying the Protan SE membrane onto the roof with fastening only around the perimeters and penetrations. Strategically located vents within the design act as pressure release valves. The stronger the wind forces, the better the system works. The system is suitable for both new roofs and refurbishments, in particular those with structural concrete or concrete slab decks. A key component is an airtight load-bearing vapour control layer. The system introduces controlled airflow beneath the membrane through specially designed air valves. Due to the nature of the design principle, the substrate must be airtight. PROVAC offers many benefits to the specifier, contractor and building owner: Sustainable & Energy Efficient: - The system is adhesive free so there is neither toxic waste nor consequent health risk to the installer - The airtight fit helps achieve and can exceed Part L regulations. Only mineral wool insulation is suitable for the PROVAC system due to its airflow dynamics - Protan and Rockwool have a long working history with roofs covering millions of square metres installed across Scandinavia and Europe - The supporting structures ...
